Very excited to have been rewarded with two silver medals for sticks that I entered in this years Royal Highland Show!

I’ve never put my work forward for professional scrutiny before so I was nervous to say the least but glad that I took the risk! 😊

I love seeing one of my sticks getting well used, they’re not made for looking at after all. This one came back recently for a new set of shoes, maybe a little sooner next time! 😉

Antler on peeled hazel market stick with cap of ekki and spalted beech. The collar is a small piece of teak that came from the deck of the RRS Discovery, the polar research vessel of Captain Scott, now permanently moored in Dundee. A well travelled stick with some fascinating heritage!
