Hello 👋 I’m Dawn, the wee knitting obsessed teuchter (Highlander) behind Highland Knit Studio. I can usually be found knitting, dog walking, or bingeing anything murder mystery related (absolutely my grannys fault for showing me so much Columbo and Quincy growing up! 🔍).
I’m slowly adding new bits to the Etsy shop - this headband will be added shortly, a dream for anyone who loves a bit of 1920’s fashion and wants to keep the ears warm! If there’s anything you’d love to see get in touch, I love trying out new knits 🧶

Anyone spotted the Northern Lights recently?

We’re lucky enough to get a glimpse of the Aurora up here in Nairn and the beautiful greens and blues in this yarn are just like a stunning Aurora sky! This hat will be up on Etsy this evening.

The Pom on this hat is navy faux fur, yarn is pure squishy soft cosy merino.

This squishy soft headband has just gone live on Etsy (link in bio)! It’s made from pure merino wool and has an awesome Art Deco look when on (anyone who knows me knows I love a bit of Art Deco!)

Today's the day the town comes alive with festivities in our Countdown to Christmas event and here's what's happening where and when!

PLEASE NOTE - The event is NOW starting at 11am.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, the horse and carriage is now no longer able to make it.

However. there are still lots of fun things going on, so please wrap up and see what Nairn has to offer.
