Along with house renovations I’m excited to be working on a new work brief. It’s all a bit hush but sourcing and planning has already begun.

I’m on the hunt for large ornate, domed bird cages, brain coral and a large vintage cloche jar to house Mr Partridge. The list is growing.

Gotta love a before and very nearly after

Here’s a sneaky peak at the utility transformation, finishing touches still needed along with a good re paint…yep I’m going brown

Absolutely love the litter tray cubbyhole and the fact that all the clutter is now hidden behind reworked Victorian doors.

It’s coming together…what do you think?

It’s the little gains that keep you smiling. No way near finished but it’s been lovely to start using this room. The view and light is fabulous.

Next step is decorating, finding a lovely period pendant light and hunting down some Georgian chairs.

Think this will be my space..study, dining and dare I say somewhere for me to sit down and relax….umm wondering if that’s ever possible?

Looking for somewhere charming and quirky to have a good old rummage? Head to Budby Antiques & Vintage ❤️

Set in a quirky old barn, it’s packed full of vintage furniture, vinyl, lighting, vintage clothing, collectables and all sorts of interesting finds.

Such a lovely place and well worth a visit — and definitely leave time for a bite in the café! We arrived just before closing this time, but I’ve sampled the menu before and, believe me, the food is delicious.
