I don’t think we could have received a bigger reminder of what Show Up Club can mean to some women than this photo from Rachel.

She sent it with the words, “Today I did a thing.”

Back in March, Rachel found out she had breast cancer. Since then she’s had surgery, gone through treatment and lost her hair.

And today she shaved her head, and she stepped outside for the first time.

She told me how much Show Up Club means to her right now, and how much she’s embracing the message behind it.

“Show up as you are.”

For Rachel, those words mean something completely different now than they might have a few months ago.

And for me, as we mark our first birthday, that means everything.

I can’t quite believe I’m saying this, but….

📣 Show Up Club is turning one. 1️⃣🎉🎂

A year of clothes, events, ideas, brilliant women, a lot of figuring things out as we go, and a community that has made this brand feel like so much more than leggings.

So this is how we’re celebrating. 🎉

4 day activation in Newcastle on floor 1 🛍️

🥂 Thursday starts at Fenwick with Business Glimmers, our women’s business morning built around sharing wins, celebrating what’s going well and making new connections without the pressure of a polished 60 second pitch. Tickets are already 50% sold out.

🎧 On Friday, we’re back at Fenwick for immersive Binaural Beats Pilates with , led by our customer . Goodie bag included.

Saturday is Padel & Pizza at , with tickets now live via the link in bio 🎾🍕

We're also having lots of fun on the Fenwick 1st floor, including shopping our first Autumn drop.

Then on Sunday, we’re finishing the weekend with a free Show Up Power Walk from Fenwick, led by our customer .hikes.yoga , founder of Hike Club . It’s an easy way to get moving, meet more women, chat as you go and be part of the weekend.

Having our customers lead parts of the celebration feels very us. They’ve always been right at the heart of Show Up Club, so of course they’re part of how we mark year one too.

55+ sessions. Three days. One huge weekend for women in Newcastle.

Show Up North is bringing together movement, music, wellness, talks, workshops, shopping, socials, brilliant presenters, brands and experiences, all built so you can choose the parts you actually want to be part of.

Friday starts across the city. Saturday brings the energy. Sunday slows the pace with more restorative and educational sessions.

You can book Saturday, Sunday or the full weekend, and build your own experience from over 55 sessions.

The full programme is live now and early bird tickets end 21 September.

My 45 year old self would love to travel back to 1997 and show her that I can apply myself, I’m not always daydreaming, and that I might just amount to something.

👯‍♀️Sunday - Sunday morning inclusive Power Walk inviting our community to walk the city with us and join us back in store for celebrations.
