A lovely session spent discovering the colours that help this mum and her two daughters look and feel their best. It's always special when family members share the experience together and leave with a clearer understanding of the colours that suit them.

𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿.
Very saddened to hear of the passing of David Hockney.
I've always loved his paintings. His fearless use of colour was a riot of joy, and his work never failed to bring a smile to my face. Whether it was the California pools, Yorkshire landscapes or his later digital creations on his iPad, he reminded us that colour can lift the spirit and help us see the world differently.
Last July, we were fortunate enough to visit his exhibition at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. It was a wonderful celebration of a remarkable artist whose work continued to inspire and delight right to the end. My husband had to drag me away, in the end!!
Thank you for all the colour, David. The world feels a little less vibrant without you.

A lovely session with a groom-to-be and his mum as they prepared for the big day. After collecting his champagne prize from a recent wedding fair, they both discovered the colours that suit them best, making it easier to choose outfits for the wedding day and all the events around it. Proof that wedding styling isn't just for brides.

7. A personalised Colour Guide sent afterwards, including your seasonal palette, draping photos and tailored notes.

𝗟𝗶𝗹𝘆 & 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀
I recently asked Deborah from Lily & Leaf Creations to create two colourful faux flower buttonholes for my jackets - a simple way to bring a bit more colour and personality into everyday outfits.
Honestly, I’m so pleased with them. The colours, the detail, the presentation box… everything felt thoughtful and beautifully done. They’re such an easy way to add interest to a plain blazer or coat without it feeling over the top.
Deborah mainly creates wedding flowers, buttonholes and arrangements using faux flowers, and after seeing the care she puts into even these small pieces, I can only imagine how lovely her wedding work must be.
Just a genuinely lovely local business owner doing beautiful work with real attention to detail.

𝗜𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀.
When I started Step Into Your Colours in January last year, I thought I’d simply be helping people work out which colours suited them best and provide advice about style etc.
But very quickly, I realised it’s often about much more than colour.
Some clients quietly admit they’ve spent years hiding in dull colours, trying not to stand out, losing confidence in themselves somewhere along the way. And sometimes, something as simple as finally seeing themselves in the right colours can feel like permission to be seen again.
It’s actually one of the reasons I started delivering Colour & Confidence Workshops too. That was never part of my original plan, but I could clearly see the connection - and the need for it.
These cards were given to me after two separate sessions and genuinely meant a lot. I never take for granted the trust people place in me when they walk through the door. 💛

If you’re heading to the Balmoral Show this week, make sure you call in to Mourne Woolies in the Eikon Exhibition Centre - opposite the toilets down at the back.

Pauline will have her gorgeous handmade colourful loopy sheep, cosy woolly hats and EWE themed cards on display — all full of character and colour. 𝗜’𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟱𝘁𝗵, 𝘀𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼.
The Balmoral Show is always a brilliant day out with something for everyone - shopping, food, animals, crafts and plenty of wandering about.
Fair warning though… you may arrive home with a sheep, a hat and a card you didn’t plan on buying.
