I have many male clients who have a much wider range of corset requirements than their lady counterparts. This particular commission was one of my bridegrooms - not too unusual, except that the fabric he gave me to work with was stripey as you can see - not a huge problem again, except that Simon was completely asymmetrical and I had to not only make the corset look straight, but also the stripes! Hand's up who's going to the Film of the Year on Saturday? Valentines day? The film of course is the new "Wuthering Heights" by Emerald Fennel and starring Margot Robbie.
Well I made two gold corsets in 2025, in quick succession. Both for beautiful blonde women. Here's the first with some BTS.

What do you look for in a cincher? I've tried to re-model the sylphe, but honestly, I really think it's the perfect waspie! It's tiny but mighty. Gives a great nip at the waist while also smoothing the tummy, can be worn on the outside or as lingerie as it's made in beautiful silk satin, has a ton of customisations, and a huge range of fit in standard sizes. What's the difference between Off the Peg, sometimes known as Ready to Wear, and Custom Corsetry?


Off the peg / ready to wear is corsetry that you purchase in a standard size. On my website there are very clear instructions as to how to figure out your size if you're a beginner. Seasoned corset wearers will be able to navigate the sizing quite easily. There's a range of options you can pic for customisation, your corset will then be made to order, and shipped off to you. RTW corsets are made to standard sizes from a size chart that has been tried and tested over the last nearly 20 years.


Custom is when we take a 'ready to wear' style and customise it to the clients personal measurements - we do this at no extra cost, so if you're a bit unsure, this is a good option but it does take a bit longer to produce. You can also add a toile but this is un-necessary for underbust styles as they are returnable within 7 days of receipt.


All options are made to order and I will always check your measurements before starting work.

People often wonder what the difference is between Custom and Bespoke. Both are made to order, to the personal measurements of the client, - the difference is that custom corsets are made to existing designs, and come with or without a fitting. Usually it's best to have a fitting with overbust style. Bespoke corsets are designed from scratch in partnership with the client. This option is popular for tightlacers, brides and men or people who were assigned male at birth. Both options are available in a wide choice of fabrics and finishes but certain fabrics like leather and bobbinet, will usually require bespoke designs. While I'm off making new designs I thought I'd revisit some old ones. I made the Enchanting Essentials Collection 7 years or so ago, as a capsule collection of 'essential' corsetry for every occassion. You have two overbust corsets which can be worn as outerwear dressed up or down, an underbust which is designed to stealth under clothes - the nymph - and a little cincher for a 1950's style 'New Look' nip which can be worn over or under clothing.
