The Stow is famous for its strong solid build and recognisable seven eyelets. Easily distinguishable as a Trickers’ classic without being pretentious.

Featuring a half bellows tongue to provide a watertight seal, and storm welt between the shoe’s upper and sole for additional waterproofing, you won’t have to choose between practicality and style.

Invented hundreds of years ago, Goodyear Welted Construction is still considered one of the finest methods of shoe construction today👞

It gets its strength, durability and repair qualities by stitching the upper leather, lining leather and welt (a specially prepared piece of leather) to the ribbing that has already been bonded to the insole. The welt is then stitched to the leather or rubber sole. It is this final stitch, holding the sole in place, which can be cut through enabling complete removal of the sole without causing damage to the upper.

Within this construction method, there is a thin cavity between the insole and the outer sole which is filled with cork. A material that is lightweight, insulating, moulds to the shape of the foot and, most importantly, breathes.

This Goodyear Welted method requires highly skilled craftsmanship and is the finest method of shoe construction today.
