Christine Lewis Studio Botanical dyed textiles from Northamptonshire My textiles are created by the slow process of extracting dyes from flowers, berries, barks and vegetables.

Much of the dyestuff is grown in my garden in Northamptonshire. If I cannot grow it or forage it, I source it ethically. The resulting natural botanical colours produce magical hues ranging from soft pastel to bright neon. As in nature, they blend harmoniously together, whilst being renewable. The fabric, the rainwater, the season, the soil and even the age of the plantstuff influence the resultin

g colour in the dye pot. There is uniqueness to the textiles that cannot be replicated by synthetic dyes.
