It must be about 30 years since our last trip to Amsterdam when we accidentally got caught up in Queen's Day celebrations and lost each other and our way numerous times due to the crowds.
Anyway, last week we went again and enjoyed a very pleasant lunch with my niece, followed by an exploration on foot. The rain never stopped, but it was warm and so lovely to visit the sites of Amsterdam again.

My grandsons enjoyed sewing bags for a board game last week during the heat wave. They loved using the sewing machines and did a great job. Must be in their genes 🤣.

Well, i don't know about you, but personally I get quite a kick out of cutting up old clothes. In this Learn to sew stretch fabrics and upcycle a sweatshirt workshop, your inner devil can shine as you chop up a couple of sweatshirts to make into something exciting and wearable. You can either bring your own sweatshirts or I have a bag full that you can practice on.

Well, these ladies certainly got to grips with zips. They learnt how to quilt their fabric, add a zip and lining and before you know it, four beautiful quilted zip pouches had been created. Lots of fun and chatter as usual. Thank you for coming.
