Hello 👋✨

Jessica here, It has been a while since I last introduced myself and the shared the values behind Kōzo Design.

I'm a 37-year-old creative type who's goal was to make a modern fashion brand that is both sustainable and stylish. To create products that look great and support both the needs of busy lifestyles and the environment.

I use a cellulose fibre material derived from mulberry trees, which is strong and durable. It’s unique because it can be washed, reshaped, reused, dyed, and stitched.

I wanted to create a brand that represents my values –

Cruelty-free and environmentally friendly! 🍃🌍

All components of my bags are either biodegradable or recyclable.
I hand make and design every product myself, here in the UK and only ship to the UK.

When I'm not handcrafting bags I hang out in local coffee shops or hunt for delicious vegan treats. I am also a strong believer in supporting small independent businesses too.

Most importantly, I am always trying to learn and educate myself on new skills and how to be a better human!

When you think of empowering influential women, who do you think of?

When running a small business solo, sometimes I need some drive and motivation. When I do, I think of these two women. Even though they are very different, their end goal was to fight for equality and change.

Reminding me everyday that if you work hard for your goals you can achieve anything no matter who you are.
