I am really looking forward to being a stallholder as the Cromer Pier 1960s Festival Day on Saturday, 10th June. I will have a good stock of 1960's clothing and accessories. Many true vintage 1960s garments plus others made by me, under the Merry-go-Round label, using original 1960s sewing patterns and vintage fabrics and notions.

Now that I have come out of hibernation after the winter months, I have put the old faithful Janome into full use again....

Now that I have come out of hibernation after the winter months, I have put the old faithful Janome into full use again. Here are some of my recent made 1960s dresses, in preparation for a 1960's vintage event, as well as some of my 1940's newly made dresses. All hand made by me under the Merry-go-Round Vintage label, using original sewing patterns, suitably adjusted to fit todays body shape and also using vintage fabrics and notions. All sizes are approximate based on UK sizing. I am based near Norwich, UK, and sorry to say that I do not ship overseas.

Here are some of my own creation1940's style Statement hats. Newly revamped and remodelled felt hats to 1940's style made by me under the Merry-Go-Round label. These will be up for sale at my 1940's events during 2023. All priced around £20 each. Unfortunately I cannot post at the moment as they all need to be boxed when posted to stop them being crushed and I do not have any boxes suitable.

Looking forward to this weekend (17th/18th September) when I will once again be a stallholder at the 1940's weekend based at Holt Station. Lots of new stock and some lovely recently made 1940's style dresses and suits made by me under the Merry-go-Round label using vintage fabric and notions, cut from original 1940's dress patterns, suitably modified to fit today's sizing. Also in stock will be some original vintage clothing for men and women. Lots of lovely 1940's style revamped hats made by me also. Stock includes dresses, suits, knitwear, shoes, hats, handbags, costume jewlery and so much more interesting bits and pieces from the 1940's era. It is sure to be a good weekend. Some of my hand made 1940's dresses and suits, made from vintage fabrics and notions, under the Merry-Go-Round label, drafted from mostly original 1940's sewing patterns, suitably modified to suit today's sizing. Those shown range from sizes 12-16 but I have based the sizes on how they fit my size 12-14 manikin. Spring is here at last so time for me to come out of hiberation (from my sewing room). Over the winter months I have been very busy making new stock, 1940's/50's style using mostly vintage fabrics and notions from original and repro sewing patterns, modifying to fit today's sizing and bodyshape, plus a few revamped hats. This is in preparation for the many vintage events that I shall be attending this year as a stallholder. All of these items have been made by mesince January of this year, under the Merry-go-Round label. I can supply sizes and prices upon request or give you details of events that I shall be attending this year, so that they can be tried on first.
