Set the scene: two best friends in the green room at the afters, recharging their batteries after dancing for 16+ hours straight, before going straight back and getting in the mix.
Everyone’s a bit sweaty, a bit messy. Talking nonsense to strangers in smoking areas, making best friends in bathroom queues, one drink in your OTT AF bottle away from staying out for another 12 hours.
That feeling where the outside world disappears. no stress, no real life problems. The bass travels through your body before your brain even catches up, smoke sitting heavy across the dance floor, lights cutting through it while everyone moves in sync like the music’s controlling them, the DJ isn’t just playing tracks, they’re reading the room, building tension, letting it breathe, then dropping everyone back into it together. For those hours nothing else exists outside of that moment. Just the music, the sound system , connections and the feeling of being completely lost in it.
