BlackButterfly We offer all kind of clothing alterations, tailoring services and dressmaking. Our studio is located I went to Fashion and Art school in my native town of Ruse.

I was born in Bulgaria and fashion has been my passion from a very young age. My mother taught me to sew and we made all kinds of doll clothes. As a teenager I really enjoyed making clothes for my friends. It was so inspiring to see them look fantastic in my dresses I liked knowing that someone’s life is better because of what I did. My teachers didn't just teach us sketching techniques, but also imparted practical knowledge that helped me a lot to get my first job. I moved to Nottingham 10 years ago where I set up my tailoring business Black Butterfly Tailoring together with my husband. We are currently employing 4 highly experienced seamstresses. We are appreciated for our meticulous attention to detail, reasonable prices and exceptional customer service. We are proud to offer an unparalleled level of service and help our clients to maintain that good wardrobe care that means that clothing can be enjoyed for many years. Our skills to work to a perfect touch means that any alterations we make to your suit or dress will be unnoticeable and untraceable; the original stitch pattern, thread colour and any detail will be perfectly matched.
