On the 30th July I’m teaching a Silversmithing 1 day beginners workshop at where you can learn to make a little flower ring using recycled scrap silver like this one. This workshop is the perfect introduction to silversmithing for complete beginners or anyone wanting to brush up on their skills but there is only ONE space left. I’ll teach you lots of different jewellery making techniques including; piercing and drilling, soldering, texturing, filing, finishing and polishing as well as general metalwork. I’m teaching a bangle workshop at on the 27th August and there are 4 spaces left! Join me to learn how to make your own personalised bangle like these ones that were made in my last workshop. I will show you how to create a set of 3 silver textured bangles from sterling silver wire. You’ll get to grips with soldering and shaping with a copper practice first and you will also create and add your own charm or bead decoration to personalise your set of bangles. I’m teaching a silversmithing workshop for beginners at on 30th July. This full day workshop will introduce you to a range of silversmithing techniques used in jewellery making. You’ll learn piercing and drilling, soldering, texturing, filing, finishing and polishing as well as general metalwork. We’ll use a range of tools that I’ll help you get to grips with, including using a rolling mill to create detailed texture on sheet metal. These are just some of the creations made by my lovely students. It’s so rewarding seeing people go from having little or no knowledge of silversmithing and jewellery making techniques to being able to create something they can wear an treasure. My first craft fair since 2019 was a success! Thanks to for organising such a great event. Thanks to .baker for coming to see me and manning my stall so I could have a bathroom break. Waste not, want not. I save all my silver scraps and melt them down to create these recycled silver branch rings. I love the organic texture they have and I love them even more because they help me reduce my waste in the workshop.

I’ll have a range of these for sale next Saturday at the Christmas craft and flea market at St Mary’s church in Nottingham

I’m a little bit obsessed with these faceted tiger eye beads. I think it might be because they remind me of disco balls, I just love the way the facets catch the light ✨
These earrings will be available at the on the 27th November at St Mary’s church when I’ll be attending my first craft fair since before covid. Am I nervous? Yes. Am I prepared? Not yet. Will I pull it off? I hope so 😆
