So, we were broken into last night. And heartbroken doesn’t really cover it. 😔

As a small business in a climate as it currently stands, these sort of set backs aren’t something you just brush off.

We work so hard to break through the noise and bring so much sunshine to this world, that it really hurts when the gloom breaks through in such a literal way. We know that these things aren’t personal, and it’s just so sad that these people were this desperate. But damn. It’s really hard not to feel otherwise.

We will be closed tomorrow June 2nd, to get a moment to sort through the admin and emotions that frustratingly come as an unpleasant side quest when something like this happens.

If you wouldn’t mind sharing this post to let other stall holders know we stand with you, and to stay vigilant.

We will resume rainbow content as soon as we can folks. 🌈

There is a lot of work that goes into all of our products even before the sewing begins!

Did you know all of the patterns for MCT and are made entirely in-house by Megan?! ✂️

Drafting patterns and sampling is one of the longest parts of the design process and takes a huge amount of patience to get just right. Even once we’ve created a sample we’re 100% happy with, the pattern then has to be graded — the process of scaling a design across a full size range while keeping the exact same fit and proportions as the original sample.

A lot of unseen work goes into making garments that not only look good, but fit properly and last for years. 🧵
