This is where you want to be when this heatwave hits 🌞

Last week we were at Splash’s Summer Launch when the rain was pouring and we still had absolute blast! I can only imagine how deadly it would be in the sunshine!

The obstacle course was great craic, the sauna amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. What's not to love 👌

It honestly makes for the perfect family day out no matter what the weather, so much fun from start to finish!

You told me it would get easier and to be honest I didn't believe a word of it. I couldn't, it was too raw and I was too angry.

But it is true, time really is a healer. Thats not to say there is never bad days but one thing that I deal with better is special occasions which last year I dreaded. This year I'm letting go of old expectations of those days and instead looking at it like we are making new traditions. That in itself is enough for now.

Along the way I'm still taking those photos knowing that one day that'll be the best memory 🫶
