🌿 Meet the Maker: Joanne Eddon Textiles
Step into a world where fabric tells a story. This week, we’re delighted to shine a light on , a talented textile artist who has been creating and curating exquisite pieces since 1986.
Working from her studio in the art@cedarfarm barn, Joanne specialises in the creative reuse of antique and vintage Japanese kimono silks, transforming them into unique and elegant homewares and artworks. Think handcrafted lampshades, sketchbooks, notebooks, and framed panels of hand-painted silk.
Joanne’s passion doesn’t stop at Japanese silk. Her studio is also a haven for lovers of Morris & Co, Liberty, Sanderson, and other iconic fabrics, all lovingly reimagined into one-of-a-kind creations.
Pop by Studio 3 to meet Joanne and explore the artistry behind each item. You might just fall in love with a lamp or notebook that feels like it was made just for you ✨
Love,
Cedar Farm x
