Hey guys, as the economy reopens I just wanted to clarify the list of services I offer. As a one woman run business I’m unable to offer a full spectrum of sewing services, I also have limited storage capacity as I work from my home studio.
I work on a one week minimum turnaround & unable to do short turnaround or same day work - by working this way it ensures my work is always of high quality & not rushed. Evening guys, this Christmas is going to be tough financially for many families due to Covid & I’d like to help in some way. I’m thinking of making a few Santa sacks & stockings for the Children, similar to the ones pictured below. If this is something you’d like for your own Children or know of a family who are struggling please feel free to message me privately so i have a rough idea of how many to make. My take on ;

Did you know Fast fashion sits at the intersection of many social & environmental crises inc climate change, air & water pollution, sweatshop, child labour & public health?

By simply doubling the lifespan of a garment you can reduce its overall greenhouse emissions by around 45%

There are many ways to avoid supporting fast fashion chains, by buying better quality garments, looking after them & getting them repaired instead of throwing them away, by buying secondhand or by being creative & upcycling your old clothes into something new.

Mine & Bellas facemasks were originally a pair of French Connection trousers which needed shortening so we upcycled the fabric offcuts into matching reusable facemasks instead of throwing away the fabric 🤙🏼

Spent the day in London yesterday learning how to make high end bespoke lingerie by the experts. I made this cute pink lace bralette in the bralette masterclass, such a fun day. I had to choose from the fabrics available in the classroom & design & make a bralette. My tutor then taught me the correct way to construct high end garments using 2mm french seams, how to pattern cut & pattern match very delicate lace detailing & the different formulas for calculating degrees of stretch when working with stretch fabrics & elastics 👙🖤 x

Mask orders and cloth availability 🎭

Hey guys, I’m now back in the Shire & working through mask orders, for those of you enquiring about fabric availability here is the selection of fabrics I currently have available. I also have a few Camo print left available in the fitted Burda style mask. Some fabrics are limited stock so once it’s gone it’s gone. I’m getting low on pretty florals so will be placing another fabric order v soon 🌺 x
