🦆 DUCK UPDATE 🦆
Just a quick update for anyone who saw us with a duck on Friday night…

We’d been working all day, headed out for a pub crawl, and were making our way to over Whitchurch Bridge when & I spotted a duck trapped and drowning by the side of the river.

I’m actually terrified of ducks 😂 but it was clearly a genuine life-or-death situation, so naturally…into the river she went.

We managed to rescue it and, after carefully freeing the fishing line caught in its beak, brought it home for the night.

It was given a bed for the night, some R&R given plenty of water, some hen food and a very unexpected overnight stay. 🦆🏡😂

The next morning, we returned to the scene of the crime and she happily went back to join her family.

So, for anyone wondering what happened to the duck — it’s safe, happy and back home where it belongs. ❤️

We only went out for a pub crawl and somehow ended up running a local bird rescue operation.

Just your average Friday night. 🍻➡️🦆😂
