Not go glam this morning, tired but happy.
We were absolutely delighted to win the publics favourite business in Tweeddale again for 2026, 3 years in a trot we must be doing something right! We missed out on the overall favourite business in the Scottish Borders this year to Borders Competitions, who were a very worthy winner!
We had a fabulous night catching up with lots of other amazing business owners and great chat at our table with the wonderful Laughing Ducks Soft Play and Nicola and her team from HomePhysio By Nicola.

A massive thank you to all my wonderful customers for nominating and voting for me it really does mean the world.

Now back to business, a busy day of shoe fittings today and sale prep is well underway.

It has taken me a while but I have finally found a new slipper brand that I like. These slippers have hard sole units so great for indoor shoes at nursery but also offer support which many slipper brands simply don’t do.
I have just bought these 3 styles to see how we get on, they start at a little 3 and go up to a size 8.

The shop is closing early today at 3.30 to allow myself to get home and glammed up for the Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce awards tonight at the Hydro.
We are up for the favourite business in the Scottish Borders again, can we make it 3 years in a row?
A massive thank you to everyone that voted for us, I can’t tell you how much it means to me, this year has been particularly tough as a business but a recognition from my customers that I am doing a good job makes everything so much better.
I am taking Mr Perfect Fit with me tonight, as he deserves recognition too, as he is the one that has to put up with all my tears and moans and encourages me every day to keep going! ❤️
