These might not be the most exciting pictures… but today marks the end of the first week of getting the shop ready for opening ✨

Photos 1–4 are the befores… and 5, 6 & 7 are during 👀

Even though it might not look like much has happened, SO much has been going on behind the scenes already and I’m finally starting to see it all come together.

I’m really loving documenting the very beginning of this big adventure and I can’t wait to look back on these moments 🖤

I’m so looking forward to next week when things really start taking shape, and if all goes to plan, by the end of the week/over the weekend the shed will finally be emptied and everything moved across ✨

It’s a lot of hard work, late nights and chaos at the minute, but I’m so excited for this next chapter for Y Stryd ♥️🪡

I have some news… and at first it might sound like bad news 💔

The doors to the shed are officially closing 🖤

After an amazing 5 years of running my little business from home, it’s time for a brand new chapter… because when one door closes, another opens ✨

I’m so excited to finally announce that Y Stryd is moving to Watling Street, Llanrwst (yes… another street 😂).

This opportunity honestly means the world to me, and I’m so grateful that this little business has grown enough to take this next big step. The shop needs a little TLC before opening, but I’m aiming to open the doors on July 1st and I’ll keep you all updated along the way.

The outside of the shop will have to wait a little longer for its facelift, as I really wanted to be in before the summer holidays — so please don’t let the outside put you off popping in and seeing all the hard work me and my family will have put into it behind the scenes 🖤

I truly couldn’t have done any of this without all of your support over the years. Thank you for supporting my little business, sharing posts, placing orders and helping me get to this point.

I’m SO excited for this next chapter of Y Stryd ✨

These jumpers are still absolutely flying out and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful! 🌼✨

Every time I finish one of these beautiful ‘dim glaw, dim blodau’ jumpers and then see another order come through for one, I’m reminded just how much your support means to my little business. Thank you for continuing to choose Y Stryd, supporting local, shopping small businesses and keeping me busy in the shed!

It’s been a busy one in the shed this week with leavers hoodies, workwear and orders flying out left, right and centre… and I just want to say a huge thank you. I’m incredibly grateful for every single order that comes through — it truly means the world to my little business 🤍

It’s been a little while since I last showed up on here… but I promise I’m still very much here 🤍

If I’m being completely honest, imposter syndrome has hit me hard lately. The lack of posting and content really started to get into my head and made me question everything.

Keeping it real for a minute — the start of this year was tough for my little business. I genuinely had to take a step back and think about what was best… whether to keep Y Stryd going or close its doors.

But then your orders kept coming in… even while I’d gone quiet on here. And that gave me the biggest kick up the bum I needed. It reminded me that you do love Y Stryd, and that means more than I can put into words.

So we’re still here. Still going strong. And still getting your orders out the door 💪

And just as a little reminder — behind every order is just me and my one trusty workhorse of a machine (pictured 👇). No big setup, no team of machines… just us, putting in the hours and getting it done.

Thank you for sticking with me, even when I went a bit quiet. It hasn’t gone unnoticed 🤍
