TESTERS NEEDED PLEASE!

I’ve really been enjoying taking a little time each day to sit down and develop my earring range. Playing with textures, materials and designs has been such a brain-pleasing process.

Who knew I’d spend so much time pondering the size of a jump ring, the sharpness of an earring hook, and exactly how something should dingle-dangle? 😂

I’m still waiting on some hoops and shape cutters, so the pieces pictured above might be the ones I send out to testers… or it could be a completely different little set altogether.

Would you be keen to try 2 or 3 pairs for free in exchange for some honest feedback? If so, please comment on here and I’ll pop your name into a hat. I’m hoping to get a few pairs posted out over the next 2 weeks.

PROTOTYPES

I know I often share the finished pieces, but I don’t always show the journey it takes to get there.

There’s a lot of trial and error behind the scenes — abandoned attempts, pieces tossed aside, walking away for a breather, maybe even the occasional scream into a pillow. But there are also those small, joyful wins when something turns out even better than you imagined.

After making earring holders for the past few years (and always meaning to create jewellery to go with them since then!), I’ve finally been quietly experimenting and playing with some jewellery designs.

This photo shows the beginning process — ideas I needed to get out of my head and into real life, just to see how they feel and look.

I hope you enjoy this little glimpse into the process. I can’t wait to share which designs made the final cut — and the ones you haven’t seen yet (including a few that still only exist in my imagination 😂) — and how they’ve evolved along the way.

Newness incoming!

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you've had a restful start to the year.

I've had a few days off and and I'm buzzing full of ideas for the year ahead.

No 1 to tick of the list is BELTS. I've been asked for years to make them and this is the year!

I'll be heading up North shortly for a leather hunting trip to find some leather hides that will be perfect for a new belt range.

It's our first weekend off in a while from eventing and we headed to St Ives via Christmas Fair to see .

I love walking around St Ives this time of year, there's a bite of cold in the air, the streets are mostly quiet and there's nothing nicer than grabbing a coffee whilst watching the dogs and birds in the harbour.

I'm now back in the studio for the afternoon catching up on orders.

Thanks to everyone that has placed orders recently after my recent Royal Mail post announcement. It's going to be a chaotic service in place for next month so early orders that allow time for the postal system to be less jammed is always gratefully recieved.
