Vintage Veils is shopping for your bridal gown, bridesmaid dress, or prom dress with a difference. After many friends and family paying dearly for a dress which then hangs, unworn in the wardrobe for years (my own was still there after 33 years although it’s now in the shop), I dreamt of owning my own shop full of vintage, pre-loved and new dresses fo

r hire or to buy. My vision is that no matter what your budget, every girl deserves a beautiful dress for a special occasion. The Shop

We have a small bit of land to the rear of our cottage - which despite my husband Bryan’s love of vintage, this time tractors rather than dresses - provided the perfect spot for a dress shop in the form of a cabin. If you follow my page [link] you will see the construction of the cabin progressing ready for opening day. Come and Visit

As this is a new venture for me, the shop will initially be open Saturday 10am-4pm and by appointment - until I can give up my day job that is. I don’t have any qualifications as a seamstress, costume maker or fashion designer, just a girl who loves clothes and shoes and wants to share that passion with the world. Come and visit, have a cuppa and a crispy cake, and let’s do what we do best - look, try and buy dresses.
