Calico Dress

As we prepare to come together for our exciting new session, with our 1st get together on Saturday 12th of September, we would like to remind you to bring any “puffs” that you may be working on. Even those currently designated “WIP” will be lovely to see.

Our aim is to have the Calico Dress well on its way towards completion by our May 2027 summer exhibition. Visitors can then see how their own contribution can contribute to the final piece. We’re sure we don’t need to say how fast these deadlines arrive!

Happy stitching 🧵 🪡

Join us for a deeply grounding workshop experience, stitching in a group, and celebrating the quiet complexity of nature. Sustainable stitcher Eilidh Weir will show you how to transform fabric remnants into a mini quilt that reflects blooming borders, climbing stems and the insects hidden between them. Piece by piece, your mini quilt will grow into a gentle tribute to the plants and insects that shape our world, as we celebrate the transition between the seasons.⁣⁣
