A size 6ish beauty! Beautiful late 1950s/early 1960s gold, cream and brown brocade dress. Size 36 label with tiny waist.
Paper petticoat still attached!!

I wore it a couple of times about 13 years ago and you can see where the fabric frayed a bit at the waist because it didn't quite fit even then 😅
You can also see how the colour changes depending on the light on the last picture.

There is what looks like a coffee stain at the front right bottom of the skirt, I've no idea when that dates from but it's barely noticeable. I've never had the dress dry cleaned myself.

The materials feel very synthetic, the main fabric almost plasticky/rainproof if that makes sense?

The lace isn't lined, so it's completely transparent.
I actually ended up with two of these and I'm keeping one - having tried it on the stitching feels quite brittle, so something to bear in mind!

Romantic long sleeve white blouse with high collar and eyelet lace accents.

Soft fabric, not 100% sure its cotton - likely a mix (labels have rubbed off). Buttons cleverly hidden under the front placket.
Faint grey marks at back of collar, no other wounds I can see.

Very Poor Things vibes with this sleeveless jumper!! Huge ruffle, peplum at the bottom, super soft and cosy yarn, what more could one want eh

It's a tiny bit bobbly, but it's also fluffy, so not really too noticeable

Two very sweet baby cotton dresses with some small wounds

The sleeveless one is good overall condition, a few faint marks, a small repair and a tiny hole on the front as per photos. It measures 11 inches across the chest seam, and is 17 inches long from shoulder to hem

The one with sleeves is made of a lovely soft sheer fabric, and has a a tiny hole down the front. It also has a few marks dotted around: two more visible ones on the left sleeve and near the hem on the right front, as well as some faint ones to the left of the centre back seam. It measures 12 inches from armpit to armpit, and is 16 ½ inches long from shoulder to hem.

Lovely large antique nightgown or chemise, bought in France a few years ago
Tightly woven cotton which feels cold to the touch (?), off the shoulder style. There’s a drawstring inside the neckline to tighten it if necessary.

No flaws or stains. Initials MB at neck. All seams are French seamed! With teeeeeeny tiny stitches. Lovely pintucks at neckline front.
Right side is a straight seam down, left side has a gusset.

Flat measurements:
24.5 in underarm to underarm
32 in waist
19 in neck opening
Armholes 7.5 in
Sleeve cuffs 6 ¾ in
Length from top of armhole to hem 46 in
