We are hoping to get the shop live over the summer and I'm working hard to get products made and ready for buying!

It's going to be a bit of a mixed bag to start with whilst we find out what we like and don't like, and what you like and don't like.

This is because we lost any sort of workspace for 6 months! We now have some space so things can be created!

Thanks everyone for sticking with me! We are currently having some building work done at home so things are everywhere!

I see you checking in and I haven't gone anywhere, just upgrading our home!

When things are sorted in the new year I will have more space to make and create!

This has been sat cut out on my sewing table for months. I lost my mojo and couldn't muster up the enthusiasm to finish it.

Finally yesterday I felt the urge to get it sewn up.

This is a bag for my daughter. She asked me a little while ago if I could make a new bag for her ballet kit, and here it is.

Strictly speaking this is a weekend bag by Spencer Ogg Patterns, not a sports bag. But it has a wide opening and lots of pockets inside.

As it's a first attempt I learned a lot and it isn't perfect. But, it's fully functional and I think it looks pretty good (even if I couldn't be bothered to change the thread up in my machine to match the lining 😬)

Let's hope she gets many years of use out of this bag!

Please get in touch if there is a bag you like the style of and I can get one made to suit you!

Turnaround time is around 3 weeks for each bag.

Prices for bags are very dependent on materials used.

This is a bag I've made just to sell. The pattern is a lavender and twine hinterland bag.

It's a lovely little bag that sits nicely under the arm and has a detachable strap. There is a zippered central section and magnetic clasps.

I have made this bag from upholstery grade leather look vinyls and from coordinating cotton fabrics as lining. I have accidentally included a clasp in the wrong area, but this is on the inside of the bag and removing it would have made a hole in the lining. So I've left it there.

This is an exclusive bag, I do not have the materials to make this in these colours again.

Hi and thanks for following my page. I wanted to introduce myself! I'm Janine and picked up bag making a couple of years ago when I rediscovered my sewing machine and wanted to get making something! I found that people were liking what I was making and there are only so many bags I can keep!

I love to let people choose how they want the bag to look and to really get a unique bag for them!

The bags I show on here are either ones I've made to show the size and shape of a bag or ones that have been ordered by a customer, each one is unique and I order fabrics and hardware to suit each request. You won't get the same bag as anyone else!
