Honeymoon complete - 3 nights away in Lapland enjoying all it has to offer including snow mobiling, reindeer sleigh🦌, cross country skiing⛷️, and husky safari. We even managed a peak of the northern lights, which came out on the last evening 🌌. 5 months as a Mrs Greaves already 🥰

A cycling friend handed me his wife's 30 year old wedding dress to see if I could make use of it somehow... when I saw the beautiful embroided roses on the back panel of the skirt, I couldn't resist making keepsakes - a cushion and cosmetic pouch. At least now, instead of the dress being hung in the wardrobe gathering dust, the memories of their day can now be seen and used every day.

I'm so pleased they enjoyed their surprise!

Straps are long to fit very comfortably under your arm.

Fully lined to look neat and makes for a strong bag.

Made a skirt today - this was much quicker to make than the flounce dress.
This, too, is not perfect but good enough!
The fabric is actually pink, not red, I wish it was....
Length seems appropriate for work. I would like a slightly shorter version for weekends 💃🎉

Bella had a 10-week jab today, and she is out for the count 😴😴😴
