Dresses ready for a Regency summer, pleased with how well they look together 🤓😍🌞. Good to see that this weekend’s events seem to have just missed the threatened heatwave. I m off to the beach early tomorrow- then hiding indoors in cold stone listed buildings for the rest of the week. Stay cool xx

Today mostly prepping and primping those pretty back pleats for a robe a l’anglaise - got to get them just right before pressing and sewing down. Again it’s IKEA for the win 😎

OK - new phone arrived, all set up right out of the box and I can take card payments again/park the car/confirm in the App/post those parcels/check the time/check the weather ..and breathe!! phew! I am shocked at how dependent I have become on this little piece of tech - and yes I know they were designed that way but I still find it pretty scary!

Lovely day seeing friends old and new - thanks for the lovely messages ###x - those of you on holiday, working, out of the country, camping, at a ball,or otherwise engaged - the cheesecake turned out great and it is all gone 🤓. Normal service resumes tomorrow
