Over the next 12 months, British Taekwondo will be staging a number of ๐๐ฅ๐๐ webinars and workshops designed to support those who run and support our clubs with practical knowledge, new skills, and fresh ideas that can make a real difference.
Our first webinar in the series focuses on ๐ก๐ฒ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฑ๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐, and will be held online on ๐ฆ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฑ๐๐ต ๐๐๐น๐ between 11:00-14:00
Delivered by Neurodiverse Sport, this interactive session will help clubs better understand, support, and empower neurodivergent participants within our Taekwondo community.
This webinar will give you:
โ
A deeper understanding of neurodiversity in sport
โ
Practical coaching strategies to support neurodivergent athletes
โ
Real-life examples of creating more inclusive training environments
โ
Guidance on communication, sensory considerations, routines, and wellbeing
โ
Opportunities to ask questions and share experiences with others across the British Taekwondo community
As a National Governing Body, we want to ensure that Taekwondo remains accessible, welcoming, and inclusive for everyone. Small changes can make a huge difference, and this seminar will provide practical tools that can be implemented within our clubs.
We encourage as many of our instructors and support staff within our clubs to join this webinar and learn more about making Taekwondo accessible to all, as well as opening up conversations within our community so everyone who walks into a British Taekwondo club feels supported.
This is the first in a number of webinars and workshops we have in store to support our clubs, and we look forward to even more development opportunities and educational sessions planned throughout the year.
Together, we can continue building a Taekwondo community where every member feels valued, supported, and able to reach their full potential.
