Garment Upcycling
Alterations & repairs to all garment types (male & female). Making and altering curtains, blinds, cushions, upholstery covers etc
Small production runs I went to Plymouth College of Art and gained a National BTEC Diploma in Fashion and a HNC in Fashion. When I was 18 I worked as a designer for Gul Wetsuits in Bodmin, I then moved to Plymouth and worked at the Jaeger factory on Un

ion Street as a Pattern Cutter. Sixteen years ago, I had my son and it is from then that I've been running my own dress making/alterations business from home. My passion is designing an garment from scratch. Creating a totally unique outfit for that special occasion such as wedding gowns, mother of the bride/groom, prom dress or even a fancy dress outfits! I can do general alterations /repairs such as zip replacements, sleeve/trouser length alteration or even transformations of a garment to recycle! I have made up curtains in various fabric weights and made matching cushions. I have recently finished a complete set of Roman blinds for one of my customer’s conservatory and I’m currently finishing recovering some caravan seat cushions.
