Horrabridge 2 - 1 Plainmoor

The weather was looking good as Horrabridge welcomed Plainmoor to Fillace park. The game started brightly for both teams with lots of energy and intensity.

Horrabridge were first to score with Freya knocking it in from a tight angle catching their keeper off guard. Our second goal came from a perfectly weighted ball over the top from Jess to Toni who calmly went round the keeper and slotted it in.

HT 2-0

Plainmoor were next to score early in the second half as they lobbed our stand in goal keeper Vicki who bravely stepped up for the team.

In the later stages of the game Planinmoor pushed hard for an equaliser but the Horrabridge defence stood strong and nullified any chances.

Another great all round team performance.

Player of the match was spilt between Rachael Hould and Freya Veevers.
