Throwback Thursday! My customer Julia wanted to wear her late grandmother's heavily embellished 1980s Frank Usher dress to a wedding. The dress needed updating and tailoring to fit. I loved the transformation and so did Julia.

The dress I couldn't show you in December. Made for a family member. Again pattern placement was so important in this style. The fabric was brought from India and wasn't really meant for dressmaking as its sari fabric.
I love the finished result though, so unique!
