This job honestly isn't worth more than £5!

A customer came to me with a pair of expensive Diesel jeans. He told me he had taken them to a local tailor to be shortened and had specifically asked for an original hem.

Unfortunately, this is what he received (photo) — and he was charged a high price for it!

To be clear, this is not an original hem.
The jeans were simply cut and overlocked with a serger, adding unnecessary bulk and a poor finish.

A true original hem means shortening the jeans and restoring the original finish – so they look just as they did before, just shorter. No visible stitching, no added thickness – just a clean, factory-style result.
