Up till 2am. New designs finally coming together. Thought I'd at least get a lie-in while hubby's away.

The dogs had other plans. 6.15am. Both of them. Absolute chaos.

And now I'm sole carer for a five year old who has asked me 'can we play now nanny' approximately nine hundred times since breakfast.

This is the bit they don't show you. Not the finished pieces, not the nice flat lays. Just a very tired woman trying to hold a crayon and remember what she was designing at midnight.

We'll get there. Eventually.

Spent today designing a dinosaur shirt for a 2-year-old who is, apparently, completely feral about T-Rex.

Not my words. His mum's words.

He turns two this week and I cannot stop thinking about his face when he opens it.

That's the bit no one tells you about making stuff for kids. The waiting to find out if they lost their mind over it is genuinely the best part.

Orders open if your little one is similarly obsessed with something that could eat a car.

🐷🐄🐑🐔 Today's adventure: took our granddaughter to the farm, and let me tell you — she is now fluent in "Oink," "Cluck," "Baa," AND "Moo," and she will absolutely correct you if you get the sound effects wrong.

We watched her stare down a goat like it owed her money, scream-laugh at a chicken, and try to hug a very unimpressed sheep. 10/10 life experience. 0/10 for my knees after chasing her around that farm yard

By the time we got home, I was so inspired (read: still recovering) that I designed a little farm birthday shirt in her honour — because if a she can befriend an entire farm yard in one afternoon, the least I could do is put it on a t-shirt.

Grandkids: turning grandparents into farmhands and graphic designers since forever. 😂🚜

The storm came. The storm left. The heat press did NOT get the memo. 😤 I genuinely watched the rain last night and thought "tomorrow will be different." Reader, it was not different. It is 8am and I am already a puddle with ambitions. Your orders ARE being printed. They are being printed by a woman who has transcended normal body temperature and now simply exists as heat. Back to school today and honestly… is it too early to start the countdown to half term? 😅

We’ve loved the slower mornings, the snack raids, the random “Naaany” every 12 seconds, and the house looking like a toy shop exploded… but I won’t lie, the thought of a hot cuppa in peace is sounding very appealing now ☕😂

To all the parents sending the kids back with fresh uniforms, shiny shoes, and a prayer that they actually bring their cardigans home… we see you 🙌

Here’s to school runs, packed lunches, and finally being able to hear ourselves think again 🤣

You know when that Shein parcel lands and for a few glorious minutes you’re convinced your whole life is about to improve? 😭

There I am, carrying it in like I’ve just won the lottery, fully believing these bargain buys are about to turn me into one of those women who always look effortlessly put together.

Then I open it…

One top would fit a toddler,
one outfit is somehow both too big and too small,
and one item is so see-through it may as well have come with a warning label 😂

But did it give me a brief, unreasonable amount of happiness?
Absolutely.

Will I learn from this experience?
Of course not.

I’ll be sending half of it back, keeping one questionable item for “around the house,” and filling my basket again by tonight like none of this ever happened 🤣
