On 15th April, my uterus was officially evicted (finally 🙌🏻)
During surgery, they found stage 3 endometriosis as well as the adenomyosis and my bladder had decided to attach itself to my uterus, so things ended up being a lot more complicated than planned. I had to have additional surgery, including bladder repair, and it turned into a much bigger experience than I was expecting.
Recovery has honestly been really tough. I had extremely low blood pressure, ended up in hospital longer than expected, and experienced the worst pain I’ve ever felt (a solid 10/10, do not recommend). I also had to spend over a week with a catheter, which meant I couldn’t move around properly early on, so recovery hasn’t been as smooth as I’d hoped.
I’m also now navigating surgical menopause and HRT on top of everything, so it’s been a lot physically and mentally.
That being said… the shop is now open again! 🩷🙌🏻🥳🎉
I’m still in recovery mode, so things need to stay flexible for now. I’m hoping to be back properly around 28th May, but this may change depending on how things go.
For the time being:
