Sorry all, we have decided not to open at all again this year, Glenn is working on the ground to see is best for growing in the future.

I am being asked if we’ll be opening this year, unfortunately we will not, although the sun shine was lovely our strawberry field plants did not agree and at least half of the raspberry plants did not survive the winter. We will re-group and try again next year.

Having had a walk round a crisis meeting this morning with the boss and staff, the decision has been made to NOT open at all this year. Work will now begin for next year and keep fingers crossed.

Sorry everybody, we’re not sure if there will be any strawberries at this year, I’ll update you all when/if anything changes.

Our fruit is coming on but no date as yet for when we will be opening, when we know we will update here.

That’s all for this year, Glenn has had a good look around today and decided there is not enough fruit to be worth opening. Hopefully the weather will be better next year. We need a good frost over the winter for the gooseberries and currants and then plenty of sunshine for the strawberries and raspberries. See you all in 2025.

No decision yet about next week, definitely not open on Saturday, there is not enough ripe fruit. We will walk around later this week and decide if we open up or call it as season end. When we know I will let you all know.

We will be open on Wednesday 17th July 2-6pm. Blackberries, loganberries and raspberries are available, strawberries are there but they are not ripening. Our season is nearly over for 2024 so we will review the fruit after we close tomorrow.

Really sorry, we will NOT be open on Saturday 13th, we are trying to give the fruit chance to ripen. We will open again on Wednesday 17th 2-6pm. We appreciate a lot of people can’t make it during the week but we are at the mercy of the weather.

Our season is nearly over, we will be open on Wednesday 10th 2-6pm and then review after that whether we will be open on Saturday or not.

We have decided to NOT open on Saturday 6th July, there is fruit but it is not ripe, we need some sun. We will open again on Wednesday 10th July.
