The time has come for a big deep breath and some big changes to The Little Print Co. After a wonderful 18 years as a full time, self employed, life caster the time has come for me to take a step back from the business.
I stared The Little Print Co back in May 2008 as a way to work around being a new mum, just for a few years, until my baby started school. That baby is now 18, and his little brother will soon be off to secondary school, so the time has come for me to start the next chapter of my life!
Next Monday I start an exciting new full time job, so The Little Print Co will need to be dramatically scaled back. I will no longer be taking my stall out to fairs and events, and I will only be doing appointments a couple of days a month.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to every single one of you that has visited my studio and stall over the last 18 years. It’s been a true pleasure to make all of your treasured keepsakes and I’ve had so much fun capturing your special memories. I have also made a lot of amazing friends, from fellow business owners, stall holders, event managers, and, of course, customers.
The good news is that I still have all of your jewellery prints safe, so you can continue to order duplicates from them, and, as I said, I will continue to do casting and print appointments a couple of Sundays each month, so please do still get in touch if you would like to order anything.
Thank you so much again for all of the support and love over the past 18 years. It’s been a blast!

It’s not a good time to be a jeweller or anyone working with precious metals. The price of silver and gold has gone through the roof (have a look at the graph below to see what I mean!), more than doubling in the last few months alone, meaning that the inevitable now, unfortunately, has to happen.
You may remember that I put my charms up by £4 a few of months ago, but sadly I now have no choice but to increase the price of my silver jewellery again.
With immediate effect the price of hand, foot and fingerprint charms are £60 for small, £70 for medium and £80 for large.
I hate having to put my prices up, but it’s that or stopping working with silver altogether (which may still happen!).
On the plus side, it does mean that all of your silver and gold jewellery is worth far more now than it was a year ago, so look after it!!!!
Please continue to support your local independent jewellery makers because every single one of them is really worried about their business at the moment!

I do love a full set raised impression, and my favourite finish is the antiqued silver. I think this one from a few weeks ago is absolutely beautiful, with so much detail, and the deluxe black frame sets them off beautifully!
Raised impressions can be done at any age so it’s never too late to capture the moment!!!
