Sally Stevens Alterations and Tailoring I specialise in alterations and repairs. Established 20 years, I am a professional and experienced seamstress local to Caversham, Reading, and Henley-on-Thames.

I set up Sally Stevens Tailoring and Alterations in 2004 when I decided I wanted to run my own business following my lifelong interest and experience in sewing and tailoring. The business is based in Caversham, which is local to the Reading area. I offer a friendly, personal service based on your personal preferences. I take great pride in my work and attention to detail is what singles me out from others. You love your clothes - so do I!

These drying coats for dogs are made to measure, using very absorbent and sustainable quality fabric. The outside is anti-pil polar fleece, the inside is bamboo terry towelling. Fully washable, they’re perfect for after wet or muddy walkies! If you’d like one for your fur-baby, get in touch. £45-55.

This dress took over 11 hours to shorten!
6 layers: 2 net, 2 lining, 2 red sparkly tulle, the top layer being shaped into 6 godets which all had to be re-shaped and the 3” “Crin” edging removed, then restitched.
Can’t wait for the lovely Alex to try it on!
