St Andrew’s Methodist Church is very honoured to announce that the external poppy display has been put up at the front of the church building. A very special lady had a dream which then became a vision of Rememberance.

The vision, through her leadership, determination and focus developed into a reality. Members of the community, and wider circle, volunteered to put their skills of knitting and crocheting into creating these beautiful poppies for the display!

Our gratitude goes out to everyone involved in this mammoth project over the last 6mths, including Mike who graciously did the work attaching it to the guttering. It is beautiful to see the final creation displayed for everyone to see and to remember all the souls that have fallen, their final sacrifice to grant us freedom.
