And summer has suddenly arrived (again) 🌞🌞 A beautiful day, but not too hot to take OH out for a lovely walk 🌳🍄🌿🌹

No preloved in this outfit, alas - I find the majority of my summer clothes were brought new (although some years ago) - but nice to be back in culottes at long last 😃

- Kettlewell Betty top in Lobelia (7 years old - & this was the colour of Lobelia back then)
- Kettlewell Matilda culottes in Regatta Blue (2 years old)
- Kettlewell Lois cotton cardigan in Carmine (2 years old)

- Peony tulle trousers in dark forest green (2 years old)
- Kettlewell Lyocell shirt in some sort of red - it was originally peach but was dyed (pre-loved by Hazel Harris )
- Hampstead Bazaar knit shacket in Carmine (just arrived from Vinted!)
- Red Socofy ankle boots
- Necklace from The Jewellery Stop

I couldn't look further from a Christmas elf! 😂

Fighting back today after a couple of colourful, but otherwise rather dull, outfits this week! Patterns (& more than one 😲) & clashing colours 😲 Feeling much happier!
I was giving a talk on colour this afternoon so this outfit was highly appropriate! A hellish 5-hour journey there and back, due to torrential rain and the M25 effectively closing down 😱😱🌧️🌧️🌧️

WEDNESDAY 10 JUNE
WFH today and not at all sure what the weather was going to do. Forecast was cold & thunderstorms; reality was warm-ish & bright sunshine with one or two short bursts of rain - but no thunder...
Linen trousers are always SO comfy, particularly in such situations. These have an elasticated waist & the fabric is warm when you want it to be, cool when you don't, so these were perfect

A nice enough outfit - but I don't feel fully satisfied with this for some reason. Can't quite pin it down...
Not enough texture?
Perhaps a pattern is needed?
I think it might be the trousers. They're a brilliant colour and were complimented during the day, but for full outfit satisfaction they either need to be patterned or have a wider leg perhaps...🤔🤔

SATURDAY 06 JUNE
Out for a birthday party this evening. So - an outfit required to cope with teeming rain & freezing temperatures on the way there, & a hot Turkish restaurant (with belly dancing & fire eating!) once I arrived!
This coped pretty well... The cardigan was removed on arrival - & the jacket underneath didn't stay for too long
We were older than many of the Saturday night restaurateurs, but I felt my outfit kept up with most of the youngsters' ones 😎

A green day and another entirely pre-loved outfit 🌟🌟 - All except for the leggings which are the most worn item in my wardrobe!
I bought them in 2022 and have worn them a couple of hundred times. Barely ever can they be seen - but they are a bottom half layer when it's chilly which is quite frequently... 🥶

- Kettlewell Cashmerino Tank in Emerald (Preloved by .mcgrady )
- Scamp & Dude dress (Found in a Scottish Highlands charity shop in early May. First time of wearing. I love the sleeves and the colour)
- M&S black leggings
- necklace made by Jenny Worstall's cousin or brother in law, & very kindly gifted to me

Well, you've seen me in my green, purple & yellow Geo Print Trousers many times - & now I have a second pair!! I managed to track down this red, white & blue colorway on a pre-loved site 🥳
So get used to them - you'll be seeing them a lot as well! My natural instinct is to pattern clash, so here they are with stripes!
This is an entirely pre-loved outfit 🌟🌟
