It’s time to meet the maker behind our Flossie&Bean workshops!

Katie is a self-taught punch needle artist based in Leicestershire, creating playful, colourful and tactile pieces under her brand, Flossie & Bean.

Inspired by everyday things she loves, her two young boys, and the colours, characters and objects that capture their imaginations, Katie creates joyful designs that bring a little fun and personality into people’s homes. Alongside her handmade pieces, she also offers bespoke commissions, DIY punch needle kits and in-person workshops.

Katie has become a real favourite in the local creative community, and we’re so looking forward to welcoming her to The Wonky Bobbin next month for a punch needle workshop!

I had so much fun trying tufting for the first time this summer with my mum and sister, so I’m really excited to be bringing this brilliant workshop to The Wonky Bobbin! Kate from will be joining us for a lovely day of tufting, where you’ll get to create your very own festive rug or wall hanging. You can make something Christmassy or completely your own design! With groups of just 4, a delicious festive lunch from - The Bakery and plenty of time to get stuck into this brilliant craft, it’s going to be a really lovely day. Festive Punch Needle Workshop

Join us at The Wonky Bobbin in Repton for a festive afternoon of punch needle embroidery with Flossie&Bean.

You’ll learn the basics of punch needle and create your own Christmas tree decoration, choosing from a selection of gorgeous festive designs. No previous experience is needed and everything you need is provided.

Plus, there’ll be a pastry from Crafted - The Bakery and light refreshments to enjoy while you stitch.

Friday 6th November | 12pm–2.30pm
£40 per person

Spaces are booking up on our Watercolour & Ink Christmas Card Workshops with @ Sometimes Sarah Paints. Take home a skill you can use year after year!

You’ll learn how to create your own beautiful Christmas cards using watercolour and ink, with plenty of guidance from Sarah along the way.
