Sewing With Anna is running classes for adults and children over summer! 🪡

Adults - I’ll show you how to make your own beautiful kimono just in time to wear for the summer holidays. 👘

Children (age 8 - 18) - join us to make a small project eg. patchwork pillow case, pencil case, tote bag or an apron - it’s your choice!

Come and join our Easter sewing workshop and make your own Kimono! 👘
For young people (17+) and adults of all ages.

If you have some basic sewing skills, or haven’t done any sewing for a while, come and join us for a fun session, to create an easy to make and wear at home, or on holiday kimono 👘

You will need to bring your own sewing machine, sewing kit, and fabric.
I will supply the pattern, teaching skills within a fun, cosy, creative and friendly environment.

Thursday - 17th April 11am - 3 pm.
Price for 4 hour workshop: £70.
Venue: Fashion and Fabrics, 24 Beech Road AL3 5AS.

Places are still available, pop in for a trial class 🪡🧵 Sewing classes for children and young people in St Albans aged 8 to 18.
Your child/YP will come home with 1 or 2 garments created by themselves.

Learning Skills:
- Pattern reading & cutting
- How to use their own sewing machine
- Hand sewing

What they need to bring:
- Own sewing machine
- Sewing kit and fabric
I will supply the pattern.

All levels are welcome to our small groups, in a relaxing and fun atmosphere.

Saturdays - 2 to 4 pm. From the 11th January until 8th of February 2025.

Classes will be held at Fashion n Fabrics (room at the back).

For 8 - 18 year olds, all levels are welcome 🧵🪡

Come learn and enjoy the art of making simple yet effective creations to decorate your home.

These will include:
Christmas Stockings, stuffed stars 🌟 or Christmas trees 🌲

Materials and patterns will be provided.
You will require your own sewing kit, and if you have your own sewing machine and know how to use it, bring it along! Otherwise we will use hand sewing techniques 🪡

Date & time: Saturday 14th December 2 - 4pm.
£30 per person

Your child/YP will come home with 1 or 2 garments created by themselves.

This is a 6 week course in a fun atmosphere, small group ( maximum 4 )
Each session is 2 hours long and classes run on:
Wednesdays 4 - 6pm
18th September - 23rd October 2024.

Saturdays 1.30 - 3.30pm 14th September - 26th October 2024.

Classes will be held at AL1 1JP.
