I'm a Cornish stitcher making textile art and gifts using quality materials in my little sewing room

A late in life discovery of the joy to be had in making things has lead me to offer my wares for sale. I specialise in textile pictures but dabble with other things too. I adore working with fabric of all kinds and particularly enjoy free motion embroidery and applique using my sewing machine and handstitching.

I’m back stitching away creating sweet little Christmas gifts. 🎄

Following lots of lockdown evening stitching, there’s plenty of choice here!
Hand embroidered onto linen , these pictures are mounted and set in chunky white box frames which can be free standing or wall hung. They’d make a sweet and lasting Mother’s Day or Easter gift.

It’s all about hand stitched French knots for me today. These are now ready to be made into lavender bags, though I might frame the bay tree. 🤔 Embroidery is so therapeutic; a really mindful process. Far more enjoyable than the housework which is what I should be doing! 😮😃

Know anyone moving ‘home’ or who is a ‘star baker’? Maybe you’d like to gift a long lasting and healthy Easter present rather than chocolate eggs.
All lavender bags are made from 100% linen (the loose weave allowing the aroma to disperse) with cotton appliqué and free motion stitched details and ‘writing’. The bunny tails are little pom-poms. Filled with high quality Yorkshire lavender and finished with a coordinating hanger.
