This is a very pretty Vintage smock top, that was handmade back in the day.
It has puff sleeves, a yoke front and back with two front pockets and a button through back.
The fabric is a fine cotton and the garment would fit a size 12.

Reupholstered in a raspberry satin fabric.

SOLD : Elegant Restyled Georgian Chairs

Painted with coal black Fusion mineral paint and protected with a polyvine wax finish.

The seats have been reupholstered in a soft velvet fabric and done in the traditional way with hessian webbing and cleaned original horse hair.

My latest project completed pretty pleased with the colouring, originally this set of drawers was painted in a gloss white paint so I have stripped it back repainted with fusion Seaside which is a lovely teal colour and finish with black polyvine wax finish varnish for effect and additional protection to the surface.

Had a bit of a reshuffle today with new items added at Tilly’s Vintage in The Phoenix Emporium in Salisbury

Although things have been pretty quiet on the FB page, it’s been very busy behind the scenes at Tilly’s Vintage the last few months. I have been acquiring and prepping all kinds of different decorative items and furniture ready for upcycling.

This is the before and after of my first completed project ….. just another 25 to go 😂😂

After dismantling the table, I removed all the white paint back to the metal as I wanted it to have a nice finish to it once done, then it was primed, spray painted and lacquered it for additional protection. The glass, as you can see had a black coating on it, but it had such a lovely texture to it that you couldn’t really see, so I decided to remove the coating to show it off.

Really happy with how it turned out and now selling at The Phoenix Emporium in Salisbury
