So proud of this one!

I handed over this recent commission yesterday to a very happy customer 😊

Thank you so much for asking me to do this, I had so much fun making something a little different to what I usually do 😁

All the colours were chosen by the customer, and we designed the patchwork together 🪡🧶

The moment is here 😊

The first new colourways in the white warp are coming off the loom 🧶

Just three little colourways that have sparked a whole new following on here 😁

Thank you to everyone that has followed me since I started setting up this warp and don't worry there is lots more to come!

I'll be showing setting up a black warp next to weave some more new colourways 💙

But for now enjoy this lovely reveal 😊

Cutting off the finished white warp 😁

This is one of the best bits, knowing all those hours and days of weaving is done and you can finally see the whole length of woven fabric 💙

I'm weaving the last space image on this white warp 🌌

This is Jupiter's moon, after weaving two colourways with blues in I wanted to find an image without any.

So when I saw this image I thought it was perfect ❤️💜🧡💛

Anyways this warp is now finished! (Finally)

So I'll soon be taking it off the loom and washing it, ready to make into products! 😁

Well today I have hit 2000 followers on Facebook 😮

And I can't quite believe it!

I started the year with less than 200 🥺

When I started the year I felt a bit unenthusiastic about my work, as I have been creating the same colourways for a little while and felt I wasn't exploring my creativity, I was bored! 😴

So I decided to set up a loom in white and experiment with new space images 🌌

I recorded some videos of the process and instead of posting what I think you're meant to post, I made the videos my style and just showed me and what I do 🧶

And well it worked! 😁
My reels have had lots of views and comments and I've gained all you lovely followers 😊

It's been lovely to have comments from people all around the world about my weaving.
That being me and showing what I do is enough and people want to watch 🥺

So thank you to all my new followers and to those that have been following me from the start 💙

I hope you all enjoy what I create next 😊

The Caterpillar

This space image really jumped out at me the other day, I liked the simplicity of it but also the movement 🌌

I tried to weave that movement by using the diamond pattern in the warp and moving through the colours in the image as an ombré 💙🩵💛

I think it's got a real tranquil feeling 😊

I've been asked to create a few products in my patchwork style and I'm so excited to work on this! 😁

I'm not revealing all just yet but the patches are being made and ready to sew together. I've got quite a few of these panels to create, all together it needs over 500 squares!!! 😮

But I'm so grateful to have been asked to create this! 😊

I took these little videos whilst weaving the other day 😊
Lovely little close ups of the process, watching the warp yarn moving up and down with each weft yarn added, it's quite beautiful 💙

Every small part of a loom works together to create something new and unique 😊

I've just finished weaving this fabric inspired by the Helix Nebula 🌌

I've really enjoyed weaving this one and think I've captured the colours in the space image quite well 😊

I'll be weaving some more space images on this white warp and then create limited edition products 😁

I've started weaving the first space image on this white warp 🌌 The Helix Nebula 🌌

I decided to do an ombré of the blues through the pinks and reds at the centre of the image
💙🩵🩷❤️

And the weft pattern I choose created small circles like the circle in centre of the image 🌌

I'm really enjoying how vibrant the colours are!
