I’ve spent the last few weeks reading books about manifestation, positive thinking and creating the life you want.

And whilst I absolutely believe mindset matters, I’ve realised something...

Sometimes I feel guilty for not feeling positive enough.

I’m a mum to two little ones, I’m building a business, juggling family life, finances, a house renovation and all the things that come with everyday life. Some days I feel motivated and inspired. Other days I feel exhausted, overwhelmed and stuck in survival mode.

The more manifestation books I read, the more pressure I felt to always be grateful, always think positively and never let negative thoughts creep in.

But surely being human means feeling both?

I can be incredibly grateful for my family, my home and the life we’ve built whilst also admitting that some days are really hard.

I can love my business and still worry about it.

I can be excited about the future and still feel exhausted today.

So perhaps the goal isn’t to be positive all the time.

Perhaps it’s learning that it’s okay to be tired, overwhelmed and still moving forward.

If you’re in a season of life where you’re carrying a lot right now, this is your reminder that you’re not failing. You’re not attracting bad energy. You’re not doing it wrong.

You’re simply human.

And sometimes that’s more than enough. 🤍
