Hi everyone 👋🏾

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for their kind words of support following my last post 💞 It broke my heart, not to be able to go ahead with the clothing launch as planned, but it will happen in the future.

Which sadly brings me onto the current state of my health. Following surgery, I had the misfortune of both my disc slipping again and the development of a serious and debilitating infection.

After a short admission into hospital, I am now back home to rest and recover, as well as being on a pretty aggressive antibiotic regime.

This means I have had to cancel all my events for the next couple of months. I hope to be well enough to be back with a bang at some pretty awesome Pride festivals - but this will only be possible if I take a complete break from everything now.

If you have sent messages/emails, please know that I'm not ignoring you. I will respond as soon as I feel well enough to tackle my mounting inbox.

This is an absolutely gutting post to write.

Over the weekend I was rushed into hospital due to complications with the surgery I had on my back last month.

As a result, I am left barely able to stand, let alone walk, and in immense pain.

I have taken the heartbreaking decision to cancel the Pop-up Shop due to be taking place next week, and delay the launch of my clothing line.

The fabulous guest traders, entertainment and other surprises I had in store have all been fantastic in their support and understanding. Hopefully they will be with me in the future when I reschedule the launch.

For now, I'm going to just try to get well, and hopefully make some of the events I have planned in my diary.

Just a quick one - I've been quiet over the past few months. Mainly because I'm getting ready for the clothing line launch.

But over the past month I've been recovering from major surgery and may have missed messages, comments, etc.

Normal service should resume shortly. I'm just plain exhausted 😴

I am making 1940s and 50s inspired clothing going live on the website on Saturday 4th May!
Can you take ever more exciting news? I'm going to be celebrating this momentous achievement with a week-long pop-up shop in the heart of Sheffield from 30th April 🥳

I'll be joined by guest traders Be Natural Yorkshire, Spinny Linny, Steelheart Craftworks, Pie_and_earring and Prints by Rosie Ridley, as well as special guest Miss Trixie Holiday on Saturday 4th, singing two live sets of 1940s classics 🎶🎙

WOW! What a 2023. I would like to say a huge thank you to all of my customers, supporters and followers. You guys are the best 😊

I would also like to thank all of the traders and event organisers (too many of you to mention by name) that have been a bedrock of support and kindness throughout a particularly grueling year! 🥰

Hi all, I appear to have lost the most important part of my hearing aid kit - the receiver that transmits to my audio loop. It's about the size of a fingernail and is in a seal bag with my ear plug (looks just like the inner ear). The last place I absolutely remember having it, is at The Sheffield Town Hall Events & Weddings for the Craft & Peace Fayre on 25th November. I'm currently tearing my office and car apart looking for it - so if anyone has seen it lying around anywhere, please let me know 🙃
