Dearest Ladies,

After much deliberation & consideration I’m now within the last year of my lease & will be now winding things down and saying goodbye to Crookes as I move on to pastures new, with a full time role elsewhere doing something different from the autumn.

I have been temporarily closed except for 1-2-1 appointments & keeping a low profile recent months whilst juggling many things. Being self employed /running a small business comes with its own stresses alongside other family commitments that have presented themselves in life in general & for me now it is just no longer possible, not having time to slow down, fully look after myself & switching off, social media as great as it is being a big issue and admin alone, has a massive effect on personal & family time.

For something that was born out of a redundancy & grew from nothing to a bricks and mortar fitted out stocked shop in under 10 weeks , I’m am very proud of what I managed to build & achieve In the past 4 years. I have had great success with award nominations & some truly enjoyable times, much giggles & laughter in the fitting rooms , some sharing and oversharing of information at times!great evenings within the local WI communities and many very emotional & great conversations that I hold dear will take with me as wonderful memories!, I would have like to have done so much more for you all, but my time and energies were pulled away into other directions.

This in itself a very difficult post to share as I know some of you will be disappointed, I’ve loved getting to know you so much individually, during your different journeys and life events, I’ve met some truly inspiring ladies & I appreciate all the love and support you have all shown me & my good friend Gill especially on our fab Fridays when we’ve both been pulled out it was exactly the atmosphere I’d hoped for!

Looking back on my time I have collected from you & sent at least 8-10K bras for recycling to Against breast cancer charity 💕🎀 which is amazing ,
I will no longer be able to accept any more bras to send, however the charity has a website for you to find alternative collection points.

For the coming weeks I will be taking appointments for the following dates if anyone would like to come for a last fitting or look for holiday bargains. Or a goodbye chat where from July all items will be marked down between 20% & 50% off

Hi Everyone

Apologies I haven’t been available for some time or posted in a while.
I am planning to be open again Tomorrow Friday 21st Feb from 11-3pm and Saturday 22nd Feb 11/3pm and next Friday 28th Feb 11/4pm for anyone wanting a fitting. I now have other commitments and priorities at the moment and unable to offer my availability at any other times.

All stock will be 30% off over these days.

I will no longer be accepting bra recycling from next Friday 28th until further notice.

Customer update & news - please read

Hi Ladies

I havent posted in a while as I have been struggling with a few health issues since May and been a little off radar for this reason.
I am closed tomorrow but plan to be back in the shop this Saturday
Here are the only opening days & times For the foreseeable few weeks which I am happy to take bookings for fittings to those who would like one.

I will have selected lines upto 30% off

Saturday October 26th 11-3pm
Friday November 1st 11-4pm
Saturday November 9th 11-3pm
Friday November 22nd 11-4pm
Saturday November 23rd 11-4pm

In other news, I have very recently been offered & accepted a part time role which begins from the end of next month so I am unable to take any appointments beyond those posted dates just at this moment in time, until I know more, and have decided the way forward & what the future looks like for me and for the shop.
Apologies for the interruptions to the usual service and inconveniences, this past 18 months have been very difficult to juggle life In general one way or another so for those who know me sincere thank you all for your concerns , kindness, offers of help, and patience & understanding during recent months!!

👙 🗑️ ♻️ Until the 9 very large boxes of bras for recycling have been collected by the charity I am unable to take anymore unwanted bras for the next 2 weeks as I just don’t have the room and the bra bank is full!

Customer information ‼️

Due to lengthy appointments at the NGH for the next 2 Fridays, whilst my assistant is away, I regret that again I am unable to open again for this week.
I will next be open & available for walk in fittings from 11am next Saturday October 5th when winter sale starts and most items will then be 30-50% off!

Really sorry for any inconveniences and disjointedness in services at the moment but unfortunately, as there is just me, I have no other option.

Customer Announcement: Please Read ⚠️

Dear customers, followers and friends - In 2021 when I first opened having just finishing at John Lewis, as you all know, my availability and time was a lot greater. Due to some significant changes in my personal circumstances there will be changes to how the shop will now function for the foreseeable near future
From next week, the shop will only open on a very part time basis. I appreciate that for some of you this news may be disappointing especially for those that like to stop by and chat, browse & those reliable styles and pick up pieces for those last minute holidays, After considering all options, for me currently this is the best way forward, at this current time I am no longer in a position to dedicate 100% of my time to be there to open the shop on a full time basis, I understand this may not suit everyone, but I am only human and have to do the right thing for my own wellbeing & family at the moment., Gill will be in Fridays and some Saturdays for fittings and any order collections from 7 June, & I will be moving my own availability to advance booked appointments only, this will be posted Weekly in advance to begin with but in line with my free time to fit around my availability, the same way you would for a hair appointment.
You have all kept me incredibly busy thus far, which is all thanks to your loyalty, friendship, purchases, great recommendations and reviews for which I am very grateful.
For anyone kindly and continuously referring your friends/clients/patients/customers, please be mindful when recommending of my new way forward to save any misunderstanding or disappointment from a wasted journey.

***I am working through arranging with all existing customers who have orders en route , due in or to collect ,….they are still coming!, but there is quite a list so please bear with me a little longer as I am gradually working through making contact with everyone with next available times things will be arriving or when they can be collected from! ***

I am still here for my ladies , i am not closing!!! ….Just less available in person for now!!

Fantastic day 1 of Crookes Festival, a very busy Saturday with my own customers but so pleased to be part of the Arts trail for the kiddies and give out some prizes! ✏️ great to have been a Wine Tasting station for the Wine Walk in collaboration with Tenaya Wine 🍷, pleased that Jo from could join us! At very short notice!, hope everyone enjoyed their day exploring what uniqueness S10 has to offer in the Sun!
