We are excited to be providing the costumes, jewellery, set and props for a brand new theatre production -

BEWARE! DRACULA IS COMING TO SHEFFIELD!

In this new adaptation of Dracula, you will be taken on a journey from gothic Transylvania to glamorous London, as the titular vampire begins his reign of terror. Can they tempt you to join them? As well as their upcoming YouTube channel, the show's social media accounts will soon include; Facebook - Dracula in Sheffield, Tiktok, Instagram and Twitter - where the team will keep you updated on the progress of this exciting production, performance dates, venue and more. This will provide a look behind the scenes with; rehearsal footage, cast and creative interviews, costume and makeup tests (and tutorials), insights into Dracula history - the whole creative process! This will culminate in the uploading of the full filmed performance to YouTube. So, anyone unable to attend the live show will get a chance to see the play, support any loved ones or just watch it again (if the first bite isn't enough).

'Dracula' is still in the early stages of production, so, if you're interested (or know anyone who is) in joining the team, as an actor, extra, creative or crew member, let Christopher Thomas Bower know, via his profile, or the show's official page Dracula in Sheffield.

With action, romance, comedy, dramatic tension and, of course, chilling horror, there’s plenty for everyone in the world of Dracula. Whether you're a vampire fan or not, we hope you'll enjoy following this fiendishly fun version of Bram Stoker’s iconic tale. We hope to see you at the theatre, when the evil Count Dracula, his brides and heroic enemies make their debut on the Sheffield stage.

We will be standing at Alder's Christmas Market, tomorrow, 10am-5pm at Alder (Unit 111, J.C Albyn Complex, Percy Street, Kelham Island, S3 8BT). We will be just one antiques and collectables stall in an exciting variety of craft stalls, artists, other local businesses and other antiques traders. There will also be delicious food (provided by Roastie Boys), mulled wine, music and more! It's free entry and a great day out for everyone, so why not come down and pick up local bargain and have some Christmassy treats.

As you may already know, we are providing the costumes, jewellery and accessories for the upcoming stage play The Secret Life Of Mrs Kane. The show is based on DC's Batman comics, and playwright, Christopher Thomas Bower, has added a new character to the show - the villainous Magpie! She is a kleptomaniac jewel thief and serial killer. In the show, Magpie steals wealthy socialite's jewels, replacing them with copies, b***y trapped to kill their owners. She later steals leading lady, Kathy Kane's million dollar 'Teardrop Diamond' necklace, and becomes Gotham's latest public enemy, hunted by the GCPD. Margaret also comes into conflict with Catwoman/Selina Kyle, as they attempt to steal same jewels. If you're interested, please like the show's page for updates on venue and dates.

Sometime in the future, hopefully if/when the world begins to return to normal, I'm hoping to collaborate with my wonderful creative friends. I'm, once again, returning to working on my play, 'The Secret Life of Mrs Kane'. Keeping it simple, I intend to start with a short workshop. The workshop is a condensed version of the full show, around 20-30 mins. It introduces actors and audience to the story. I plan to go on to stage the full production, much later. I have been privileged to work with many talented people, over the years, and I hope to do so again. The event will also involve a short fashion show and Wendbee will be providing the glamorous costumes, jewellery and accessories.
I know we're a long way off from being able to meet, with Covid lockdowns and many other more important things, but I want to get the ball rolling now and create something to look forward to. Anyone interested in being involved, in the future, as; an actor, extra, model, creative collaborator or crew, please let me know. The full description of the project and more info is on it's page and if you have any more questions, please let me know. I can work around any schedules, no pressure or deadline. Wendbee is providing the vintage costumes, jewellery, accessories, props and set for the stage play Gotham City 1989, coming to Sheffield later in 2020. During the 1st workshop of the play (coming in the spring, showcasing two scenes from the upcoming show), some of the vintage outfits, accessories and jewellery will be available to buy from Wendbee.
