Morning! ☀️

I am officially off work from today until the 1st of June.

​As many of you know, Blushes, the wedding shop I did alterations for, closed just under two weeks ago. When it happened, I stepped in and took on a large number of wedding, prom, and bridesmaid dresses to ensure those customers still received them. I’ve also been putting my information out there and trying to help as many brides as possible—even if it was just by sharing advice and having a reassuring conversation.

​Because it has been an incredibly intense two weeks, I need to take a little step back now. I need to switch off, get some much-needed rest, and enjoy some quality family time being fully present with my son.

​Moving forward, I have set a few boundaries to help balance things out:

​Messages & Replies: I am still absolutely open to helping as many brides as I can, so please feel free to message me! However, I will be limiting the hours I spend responding to texts and calls so I am no longer replying at all hours of the day.

​Upcoming Break: Please note that I will be completely away and not responding to any messages between 22nd May and 1st June

​My usual working days are:
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and a couple of Saturdays a month.

This was a scatter back sofa, the customer wanted some foam back cushions creating in a fabric to match. I created 3 large foam back cushions in a light velvet fabric. 🛋
